COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Dominican women's volleyball team completed the season sweep of Urbana University with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday evening in Alumni Hall. With the win, the Panthers extend their current winning streak to a season best seven games and is now 19-13 overall on the year.

The Panthers continued to spread the wealth as the combination of Cassie Schroeder (Sr. /Columbus Grove, OH) and Elyse Mongillo (Jr. /Columbiana, OH) combined for 30 assists to nine different players. ODU earned their third straight victory without a single player recording double figure kills.

ODU jumped out to an early lead in game one and never looked back as they cruised to a 25-11 victory. In set number two, the Panthers again took an early lead only to see the Blue Knights rattle off a brief rally. ODU would bend, but not break as they regained the momentum to go up two games with a 25-16 win. The two teams traded points early in the third and final set, but ODU wouldn't be denied as they took the game and the match with a 25-20 victory.

Outside hitter Rachel Billing (Jr. /Anna, OH) missed a double-double by a kill as she finished the night with nine kills and 18 digs. Kristy Birkemier (Fr. /Columbus Grove, OH) added eight kills in the win and had a total of five blocks. Shannon Nadler (Fr. /Leipsic, OH) finished with six kills and Stacy Rogg (So. /Cincinnati, OH) added 16 digs for the Panthers.
