Life University stole the show tonight against Dillard University, winning 97-60. The Running Eagles set the tempo and maintained a solid lead throughout the game. They entered the second half ahead 48-36, and continued scoring at a torrid pace. As a team Life had 16 steals, 25 assists and forced 35 turnovers. Everyone on the Running Eagles roster scored, and the team was led by Ken Moore who had 15 points. Life's Tay Barber scored 14 points, followed by Ryan Daugherty who had 9.Dillard University was led by Mico Sjekloca who scored 15 points.  
This is Life's second game against Dillard this season. The Running Eagles lost to the Bleu Devils in New Orleans on December 18, 82-70.
 
"We were off to a great start from the beginning and our press forced a lot of turnovers," said Head Coach John Barrett. "We were able to get everyone involved, and we can measure our improvement by how we played against them earlier this year. It was a great effort by the whole team."  
 
Life University's record is 16-10 for the season. The team is set to play Cincinnati Christian College at home on Saturday at 2 p.m. - a make up game from February 6. Life's final home game is Tuesday, February 23 against Talladega College, where senior Running Eagle players will be recognized for their contribution to the team.
