Today Life University added another big win to their record against Cincinnati Christian College, 96-57. Life was ahead in the game from the very beginning and led into the second half 41-28.Tay Barber was the leading scorer for the Running Eagles with 24 points and had 3 steals, followed by Greg Brown who scored 15 points and had 6 steals. As a team, Life had 19 steals and forced 28 turnovers. Cincinnati was led by Joseph Dowell who scored 15 points and had 3 steals. Life hosts their last home game of the season this Tuesday against Talladega College at 7:30 p.m.
"We've been playing very well lately, but today we struggled right out of the gate. Eventually our defense created a lot of turnovers and we got a couple runs going," said head coach John Barrett. "Wecame out in the second half and settled down, played our style of basketball. The defense dictated the offense and we wound up with a nice win. Now we're onto the next game."
