Thomas University Baseball (8-5) knocked off the host Spring Hill Badgers (10-3), 5-3, on Friday afternoon in Mobile, AL.

The Night Hawks held a 4-0 lead after 6 1/2 innings but the Badgers made it a one run game in the sixth with three runs. TU added an insurance run in the ninth to put the game away. Sophomore starting pitcher Kurtis Mancauskas (2-1) pitched a complete game for the victory, allowing three earned runs on nine hits. Senior center fielder Tyler Davis (2-4, 3R, RBI, 2B, HR, SB)  and senior right fielder Drew Johnson (2-4, 2R, RBI, 2B) each drove in a run and senior catcher Rick Howroyd (3-5, 2RBI) drove in two for the Night Hawks.

Action continues tomorrow in Mobile, AL when the two teams will face each other in a double header beginning at 1PM.
