Kevin Hartoin earns first Top 5 finish at the Piedmont Invitational
COLUMBUS, Ohio- Ohio Dominican freshman Kevin Hartoin finished third at the Piedmont Spring Invitational in the Panthers only tournament during their spring trip to Atlanta, Georgia. The Panthers competed in their first event of the spring season, finishing in sixth-place at the tournament held at Orchard Country Club.
 

Hartoin, a freshman from Cincinnati, Ohio, finished the tournament six strokes back of eventual medalist Trey Bridwell of Maryville College. Hartoin shot a two round score of 150 (76/74) to lead ODU individuals and earn his first top five finish of the year. Bryson Womack led North Georgia to the team championship and finished second with a combined score of 149 (74/75). 

       
North Georgia shot a combined total of 615 to lead the field. Abraham Baldwin finished second with a score of 634, followed by host Piedmont with a team total of 640. ODU's finished sixth firing scores of 646 (322/324).   
       
Joining Hartoin as the top finishers for the Panthers was Craig Inscho (Sr. /Bucyrus, OH) who finished eighth overall shooting a two round score of 156 (77/79). Josh Wolfe (Jr./Galion, OH) earned a top 10 finish as he tied for 10th place with a score of 158 (79/79). 
       
Ohio Dominican returns from their week long trip and will head to Portsmouth, Ohio this weekend for the Shawnee State Invitational. The Panthers second spring tournament will be held at the Elks Country Club.
