The Thomas University Night Hawks had a 3-1 lead going into the bottom of the seventh only to see the Cougars of Cal State -San Marcos score three runs to take a 4-3 lead. The Hawks trailed going into the ninth but managed to finish strong with a two-run rally to win 5-4 and stay unbeaten in the A.I.I.  Baseball Tournament in Jackson, TN. 
The loss eliminated the Cougars who finished the season at 31-15. The Hawks moved their record to 33-15  and will play at 11 a.m.  Friday in the winner's bracket against  Houston-Victoria.
 
TU had 14 hits on the day. Matt Wilson had three hits and two RBI's. Randy Adams knocked in two runs with Drew Johnson adding the other RBI. Sean Medlin picked up the win in relief pushing his record to 5-1 on the year.  Eric Julienne was the hard luck loser for the Cougars.
