The Lambuth Eagles faced elimination Fiday afternoon against LSU-Alexandria in the A.I.I. Baseball Tournament at Pringles Park. That did not rattle the Eagles as they beat the Generals 13-4 with a 17-hit attack.
 
Along with the hitting by Lambuth, Jordan Smith went the distance to garner his eigtht win to keep the season alive. Smith gave up just two earned runs and walked only two batters.
 
Smith was supported by the bats of Kirk Waligora, Mitch McClay, Mike Davis, Mitchell Thomson, and Lee Kimball. Waligora had a four-hit day. He scored three runs and had two RBI's.  McClay had three hits and  a three- hit afternoon. Davis drove in two runs. The Eagles had six doubles, two of those by Kimball. The Eagles broke the game open with a five-run fifth. Thomson had two hits and an RBI.
 
LSU-A's  James Howell had three hits.
 
LSU-A  finished 14-41 on the season. Lambuth moved to 39-18 and faces Thomas at 7 p.m. Friday.
