For the second straight year it will be the Eagles of Lambuth University and the Jaguars of Houston-Victoria to decide the A.i.i. Baseball Conference Tournament championship.

The match-up was set-up by Lambuth's 12-7 victory over Thomas Friday night at Pringles Park in Jackson, TN. The hitting of Bart White and the pitching of Zach Hurdt proved to be the difference. White slugged two home runs and drove in five runs. Hurdt pitched a complete game and ran his record to 4-3 on the season.Hurdt stuck out nine and walked only two.

Lambuth and UHV will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday.The Jags hope to close out the tournamet with a win which would be their second title in a row. Lambuth hopes to force a second game.

Lambuth is 40-18 while UHV is 30-20.
