PHOENIX - Six teams are set to battle for the 2011 Association of Independent Institutions Volleyball Championships set for Nov. 11-12 at Arizona Christian University.
Vying for this year's conference title and two berths to the NAIA championships will be La Sierra University, California State University-San Marcos, Jamestown University, Mayville State University, Dakota State University and Arizona Christian.
Action gets under way on Nov. 11 with pool play, with the third-place finisher in each poll being eliminated from the tournament. Pool A will be comprised of La Sierra, Mayville state and Dakota State, while Pool B will be comprised of CSUSM, Jamestown and Arizona Christian.
The top two teams from each pool will advance to the championship round on Nov. 11.
