California State University-San Marcos had four players represented on the 2012 NAIA Softball All-American team, while the university of Houston-Victoria had one player named to the elite team from the Association of Independent Institutions.
CSUSM junior pitcher Cortney Allen and senior first baseman Alyssa Dronenburg were selected to the first team, while teammates Alex Miller and Kaitlin McGinley were chsoen to the second team.
UHV senior pitcher Emily Berrgstrom received honorable mention recognition.
Oklahoma City's Lily LaVelle was named the Pitcher of the Year, while Lubbock Christian's Kim Frazier was named the Player of the Year.
