The California State University-San Marcos volleyball team has moved into the Top 10 of the first edition of the Tachikara-NAQIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll released Monday.
CSUSM (11-2) moved from No. 23 to No. 10 in the latest poll with 421 points. CSUSM is the top-ranked team in the Association of Independent Institutions Conference poll.
La Sierra (Calif.) and Jamestown (N.D.),, both members of the A.I.I. Conference, received votes in the latest poll. La Sierra (9-3) received 73 votes and Jamestown (8-2) 10.
Defending NAIA champion UT-Brownsville collected 19 first-place votes and held the top spot with 620 points, while Concordia (California) was close behind at No. 2 with 604 points. Columbia (Mo.) is ranked No. 3, Biola (Calif.) is No. 4 and Embry-Riddle (Fla.) is No. 5.
