The Association of Independent Institutions men's soccer teams were shutout Tuesday from the 2012 NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 poll.
The only A.I.I. team to receive votes in the preseason poll was conference newcomer Ashford (Iowa) with 107 votes, just missing the top 25 at No. 26.
Ashford is the top-ranked team in the A.I.I., followed by California State-San Marcos at No. 2, Jamestown (N.D.) at No. 3, La Sierra (Calif.) at No. 4 and the University of Houston-Victoria (Texas) at No. 5.
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), with all 27 first-place votes, remains at No. 1 with 591 points. Southern Poly (Ga.) follows at No. 2 with 569 points. Rounding out the top five are Science and Arts (Okla.) at No. 3, Auburn Montgomery (Ala.0 at no. 4 and Rio Grande (Ohio) at No. 5.
