California State-San Marcos took over the No. 2 spot and British Columbia the No. 5 spot this week in the latest NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top-25 Poll.
The CSUSM Cougars, who earned 532 points in the latest voting, moved up from No. 4 to No. 2, while the Thunderbirds moved from No. 6 to No. 5.
Southern Oregon remained at No. 1 with 559 points. St. Francis (Ill.), who had not been ranked, received two first-place votes and moved into the No. 3 spots with 519 points. Oklahoma Baptist fell to No. 4.
The only other Association on Independent Institutions Conference team to receive votes in the latest poll was Dakota State (S.D.) with 7 votes.
CSUSM and UBC hold down the top two spots in the conference rankings, followed by Valley City State (N.D.) at No. 3, Jamestown (N.D.) at No. 4 and Dakota State at No. 5.
