Valley City State (N.D.), the lone Association of Independent Conference schools in the rankings last week, has dropped out of the latest NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
VSCU, currently at 3-2 on the season, was at No. 21, but fell out of the poll this week after a 39-28 loss to South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Marian (Ill.) received 11 first-place votes and moved from No. 2 into the top spot replacing Saint Xavier (Ill.) which fell to No. 6. Georgetown (Ky.) moved from no. 3 to No. 2 and Missouri Valley moved from No. 4 to No. 3.
