The California State University-San Marcos volleyball team dropped two spots from No. 9 to No. 11 this week in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll released Tuesday.
CSUSM (16-8), the top-ranked team in the Association of Independent Institutions Conference poll, received 441 points in the latest poll.
Jamestown (N.D.) was the only other A.I.I. school to receive votes in the weekly poll with 31.
CSUSM and Jamestown are the top two ranked schools in the A.I.I., followed by Ashford (Iowa) at No. 3, Mayville St. (N.D.) at No. 4 and La Sierra at No. 5.
UT-Brownsville collected all 23 first-place votes and held the top spot for the seventh consecutive week with 653 points, while Concordia (California) was close behind at No. 2 with 632 points. Columbia (Mo.) is ranked No. 3, Biola (Calif.) is No. 4 and Lee (Tenn.) moved from No. 6 to No. 5
