The Jamestown College (N.D.) has opened the2012-13 basketball season ranked No. 11 in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Top 25 poll.

Valley City State (N.D.) just missed breaking into the Top 25 finishing with 42 points, just four points behind No. 25 College of Idaho and Saint Francis (Ind.).

Concordia (Neb.) was the preseason No. 1 with 342 points, while Northwestern (Iowa) was at No. 2 with 328 points.
